Letter written as well as sent from Breslau (Wrocław) in 1818.
A letter of value to which, according to a note on the address page, was attached a package marked with the letters HP, which contained 70 ( thalers?).
On the address page, the oldest postmark in Breslau - it was used in 1817-1819 (after: P. Feuser, W. Munzberg, Deutsche Vorphilatelie. Stationskatalog. Katalog der Aufgabestempel, Stuttgart 1988, p. 197)
Sender's wax seal preserved.
Watermark - a postal trumpet in the coat of arms and the inscription C.B.R. ( unspecified paper mill, but the mark is similar to the Dutch paper mill).
