Sample print of the main part of the main page of the banknote, with the portrait of the "Highlander", printed using the intaglio technique made in Great Britain.
The production of the "London Highlander" is most often attributed to the Thomas de La Rue label, but this has never been officially confirmed.
The print has distinctive features that distinguish the original banknote from the so-called "London counterfeit."
A total of 4 such prints appeared on the British market a few years ago, sold by an auction house there.
Huge rarity.
Definitely rarer than pieces of forgeries caught by the occupying forces and stamped at the branch of the Emission Bank in Piotrków Trybunalski (Petrikau).
